TLG Launches Leadership Digest

In an effort to support Ottawa’s Public Service leaders during their hectic year-end activities, TLG has launched a 7-week Leadership Digest campaign. Each week a new challenge is addressed, and the experts at TLG offer instantly redeemable advice for overcoming these everyday leadership issues.

Their leadership advice comes with a twist, however, as TLG’s neuro-leadership techniques accent a scientific approach to management, coaching, and development. The scientific explanation of leadership development allows for even the most analytical minds to understand how to effectively engage and communicate with staff. Founder and President Trevor Stevenson explains:

“We often work with groups of 10-15 people. In every group, there are scientific-type people who tell us that the brain-based approach allows them to understand the ins and outs of leadership development. There are also the people who don’t like the scientific approach, but they still love the methods and learn a lot. There really is something for everyone.”

There is no question that government executives are under a lot of pressure this time of year. Budget anticipations, shortened workweeks, and the upcoming fiscal year end are causing inboxes to overflow and employees to become unengaged. “We’re not trying to add to the clutter, there’s enough of that already,” explains Founder and Leadership Expert, Dale Stevenson, “we understand that our clients may need some extra advice during this stressful time, so that’s what we’re offering.”

TLG keeps an open dialogue with their clients and subscribers, and encourages managers and leaders to connect via email, Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn to suggest topics for the Winter Leadership Digest in the New Year.
