Recognizing the challenges that exist on the horizon across all industries, TLG has launched two new courses to ensure today’s leaders are fully equipped for tomorrow’s trials.
The landscape of team and business management is ever-changing, and managers are faced with the task of constantly re-adjusting their approach to leadership based on their team, project, or other external pressures. In the private sector, changes in technology and the economic climate are providing as much challenge as opportunity, and adapting to these changes is pivotal for business success. In the public sector, the deficit reduction is posing a threat to many employees’ jobs and, subsequently, morale, productivity, and workplace motivation.
Trevor and Dale Stevenson, Co-Founders of the Leadership Group, also happen to coach and train many of their clients, and have been developing new courses based on the challenges they foresee – so their customers can stay ahead of the curve. “Being on the frontlines of our organization offers the unique opportunity for us to develop courses that cater to specific client needs,” says Trevor, “About six months ago, we identified the need for both Change Leadership and Performance Management. As the end of fiscal year approaches, we’ve designed a two-day course for each that fit within the pressing time and financial constrictions of our customers.” Each of the courses will run twice during the month of February, and Stevenson says seats are filling fast.
Their Winning Them Over: Brain-Power Communication Toolkit course is geared toward leaders who foresee significant changes in their organization. The human mind is wired to resist change, yet in most cases, change is inevitable. Learn how to master times of change before they take place and ease transition periods for you and your team, all while optimizing workplace morale and productivity. Courses are running on February 27 & 28 and March 6 & 7.
The Brain-Power Performance Management™: Overcome Emotions to Review, Inspire and Manage Performance course is ideal for the leader who wants to know how to get more out of his/her employees. Human emotions can often pose a challenge to performance management, but TLG’s course can help leaders to have positive conversations about performance management that can motivate individuals to achieve excellence in the workplace. Courses are running on March 20 & 21 and March 27 & 28.
